The Peanut Factory
Design lead.
Brand identity, event visuals, logo design, merchandise, and social assets.
The Peanut Factory is a UK Garage events label inspired by real-world club nights and grassroots music culture. I initially designed the logo for a friend’s party series and later developed the full brand identity as a self-initiated project to explore bold, characterful branding within music and nightlife.
UK Garage has a rich visual heritage—gritty, energetic, and deeply rooted in community. My challenge was to create an identity that felt authentic to that scene, while elevating it with a cohesive and contemporary system suitable for print, digital, and merchandise.
Starting with the original logotype, I expanded the visual world with vibrant colour palettes, lo-fi textures, playful typography, and a sticker-inspired layout system.
Though speculative, the project demonstrates my ability to take a seed of an idea and build out a full visual ecosystem around it, balancing creative freedom with strategic design thinking. It allowed me to explore voice, tone, and physical brand presence in the context of UK music culture.
